Our surveys on the wild verge at the corner of Teg Down Meads have recorded a growing variety of wildflowers and grasses, including bee orchid, poppies, corncockle and burdock, creating valuable habitat for local wildlife.
The flowers are already attracting a wide range of pollinators and other insects, including bees, butterflies, hoverflies, ladybirds and crickets. By allowing this corner to grow naturally, we’re helping to support biodiversity while giving everyone the chance to discover the wildlife thriving right on their doorstep.
